A container lifter is an equipment used for lifting and positioning containers. It can be used for loading / unloading containers for shipping and transportation. Container lifters also help in shifting and stacking containers for storage. We design both manual and automatic container lifters in accordance with IS 800.
Our manual container lifters consist of a rectangular structure with a mechanism that locks onto the frame of the shipping container. The structure can be designed to suit the standard sizes of the shipping container to be handled. The manual container lifter with its unique wire rope-actuated locking mechanism assists in lifting small or medium-sized containers that require occasional handling. It is also more economical than using automatic lifters.
Automatic container lifters are a type of crane extension that are designed to pick and place containers securely with little manual effort. Our automatic container lifter can be accurately positioned over the container by means of guiding flaps. The arms of the lifter then latch onto the container frame, driven by a hydraulic system. The automatic lifter senses the offset between the crane hook and the centre of gravity of the loaded container. The centre of gravity is gradually aligned with the hook point using a feedback control loop. We also provide load cell integration for sensing and displaying the weight of the loaded container. This equipment can handle more load capacity as compared to manual container lifters. Also, it is suitable for high duty cycle of container lifting operation with improved productivity.
